About the role

We are currently seeking applications from candidates to work with our dedicated Community team with the opportunity to develop a career within the Victorian Public Health Sector. 

As a Health Care Worker in our My Community Health Care team, you will provide person-centered care, assisting our consumers to remain living independently in their own homes by providing assistance with personal care, social support, respite, transport and domestic assistance. 

This is a Monday to Friday role and requires a current First Aid certificate or a willingness to obtain. Please speak to a member of our team to discuss support, if you don't currently hold this certificate. 

Within close proximity to Albury/Wodonga, you can enjoy some of north-east Victoria’s beautiful scenery while travelling between clients in company supplied vehicles. Our service covers the areas of Bethanga, Bellbridge, Dartmouth, Eskdale, Mitta Mitta and Tallangatta.

About you

You are passionate about what you do and want to support our consumers to live life to their potential. You will also have the following;

  • Certificate III in Individual Support/ Aged Care or equivalent 
  • A clear and strong commitment to the providing quality care to our Consumers/Residents
  • Strong communication and consumer service skills
  • Well developed interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and problem solve
  • Able to comprehend and follow written instructions and procedures
  • Motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment and independently
  • Current Drivers Licence

All appointments are made subject to the required security screening including National Criminal History, NDIS Worker Screening checks and an immunisation status appropriate to the role, including the COVID19 and Influenza vaccinations.
