About the Role
We are seeking an organised and proactive Emerging Talent Advisor to join our team. This role is critical in supporting a diverse range of stakeholders within the People & Culture (P&C) team and across the organisation.
You will be managing the full lifecycle of Emerging Talent programs, focusing on our Interns, Trainees, Apprenticeships, Scholars and Work Experience Cohorts. (This role doesn’t manage the Graduate Program.)
You will oversee the end-to-end delivery of these programs, from designing assessment methodologies to purposeful development, and play an instrumental role in supporting the wider team in optimising and improving program management through data analysis and feedback.
As an integral part of the team, you will manage a variety of activities and ensure the smooth coordination of all early talent initiatives, ensuring that our talent pipelines remain strong and that each participant is supported throughout their journey with us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project manage, with guidance, the delivery of Emerging Talent Programs for trainees, interns, and work experience students. This includes managing program elements (e.g., rotations), onboarding, and development activities.
- Support the delivery DEI plan of the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
- Maintain up-to-date data and metrics on key performance indicators such as attrition, retention, and cohort demographics. Analyse and report on program evaluation to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in the design, development, and delivery of activities for early talent programs, including onboarding events, development workshops, mentoring sessions, and 'lunch and learns' for both enterprise and local programs.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process for interns, trainees, and work experience students, including facilitating assessment centres.
- Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition, People Partnering and Employee Experience teams to enhance the Early Talent brand and liaise with external agencies
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Relevant degree qualifications in Business, Human Resources, Learning & Development, or experience deemed equivalent (essential).
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessing and/or background in Learning and Development desirable).
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a corporate organisation, specifically in Emerging Talent project coordination and management. Experience in implementing training programs is highly desirable.
- Strong project management and execution skills, with the ability to deliver tangible business outcomes. Proficiency in using project management tools such as project plans, Excel, Microsoft Project, and visual management boards.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet objectives within tight timeframes, often working with various stakeholders who have different needs and goals.
- Experience engaging with all levels within an organisation, from senior leaders to entry-level employees.
