Scheduler

We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to join Sydney Water’s Infrastructure delivery team on a 12-month contract.

This fixed term role, will see you prepare and assess project schedules and plans covering the full project scope and all project phase. You will optimise schedules, you will ensure delivery of all projects and programs meet the project objectives, timelines and budgets whilst maintaining consistency, accuracy and efficiency in scheduling. 

Your role will also involve:

• Preparing project schedules and maintaining data in Primavera P6 in accordance with current procedures and processes.
• Liaising with key stakeholders to ensure project plans and schedules are aligned.
• Establishing project key milestones and ensuring they are tracked and variance status reported.
• Identifying the critical path for the project and detail in the schedule; report progress against the path as required.
• Undertaking review and approval of Contractor and RDC’s Schedules including validation of baseline schedule and conformance to Contract requirements.
• Maintaining effective relationships with assigned project team members and relevant stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring:

• Tertiary qualification in a related field and Project Management certification.  
• 4 to 7 years’ experience in a similar role 
• Experience utilising scheduling system namely Primavera P6 and Microsoft Projects.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts and best practices for scheduling.
• Advanced use of Excel and knowledge of Power BI reporting skills.
