About the role
The Enterprise Portfolio Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing projects within the Enterprise Portfolio from Enterprise Plan to Project Brief approval with the focus being on project mobilisation to set projects up for success. This role involves close collaboration with key stakeholders across various parts of the business ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and effectively to meet business outcomes. To be successful in this role you will have a passion for portfolio management, project delivery and have the strong commercial acumen.
Your key accountabilities will include and are not limited to the following:
The role will support the delivery of key project activities including project mobilisation, planning and development through to business case approval and oversee successful delivery of projects through their lifecycle.
Work with Sponsors and business owners to enable projects that address business challenges, deliver outcomes and contribute to strategic success measures.
Lead the early shaping of initiatives in collaboration with various teams across Sydney Water, including developing the problem statement, identify business and process impacts, aligning stakeholders on requirements and preparing the project submissions to governance bodies for formal endorsement.
About you
Relevant degree qualification (e.g., Finance, Business Management or Project Management) or experience deemed equivalent.
5 years’ experience in portfolio or project management related roles and disciplines
Experience in delivering business improvement and change management outcomes.
Proven leadership skills in a large, complex organisations, with a focus on teamwork, goals, and priorities
Strategic thinking, experience influencing and presenting to executive level leadership teams
