Program Manager
About the role
The Hawkesbury Nepean Nutrient Framework is due to commence in July 2025. The key intent of the Framework is to maintain waterway health by limiting the nitrogen and phosphorus loads into the Hawkesbury Nepean River System from Water Resource Recovery Facilities (WRRFs) regardless of growth
In 2024 the EPA requested Sydney Water to commence the Stage 2 load and concentration limit review. This was a further review following Stage 1 concentration review in 2017 which looked at the current performance of the WRRFs and adjusted the concentration limits to be in-line with current performance. Stage 2 review will commence July 2025 and will review wastewater contaminants and their effects on the receiving water ways in the Hawkesbury Nepean Catchment, using scientific review for reasonable and feasible environmental/compliance performance.
This role is responsible for successfully managing the delivery of Hawksbury Nepean framework, stage 2 load and concentration review and projects and the wider program within a wastewater context. You will lead collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams to manage and resolve issues and risks to project delivery. You will be accountable for ensuring consistency, accuracy and efficiency in project delivery, cost, and risk management across all assigned projects.
