About the Role
At Sydney Water, we’re passionate about making a difference to the lives of our customers and communities. We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Contract Support Officer to join our Customer Experience team and play a key role in providing support to a team of contract specialists.
We are looking for enthusiastic applicants with a willingness to learn and grow a career in our team. In this role you will be accountable for the day-to-day management of supply, service and support contracts that deliver civil maintenance and related works, ensuring the best value for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with legislation, procurement policies, processes, and procedures.
- Drafting and delivering contract documentation including, correspondence, reports, and variations.
- Allocating and monitoring work (including onsite).
- Reviewing services and verifying correct charges and payments are applied.
- Handling disputes and issues as they arise, facilitating resolution.
- Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Analysing contract data and provide insights for decision-making.
About You
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in contracts management.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including report writing.
- Ariba experience is desirable but not required.
- Maximo and Spatial Hub/ GIS experience is desirable but not required.
