About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Enterprise Risk Lead to join our team. This role will be pivotal in integrating risk management into business and strategy planning, project management, and other critical business processes. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the company’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) and ensuring that risk management practices are effectively embedded across all business functions. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior leadership, including the Executive team and Board, to analyse and mitigate risks that could impact the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Risk Reporting: Regularly analyse and maintain risk information and provide updates to the Executive team, Board, and its committees on the organisation’s risk profile.
- Risk Profile Development: Analyse and develop the Enterprise risk profiles, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the risks business could face
- Enterprise Risk Management Integration: Integrate risk management into business and strategy planning, project management, and other relevant processes across the organisation.
- ERMF Maintenance: Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) to ensure it is fit for purpose and applicable across all organisational activities.
- External Risk Analysis: Conduct analysis of the external operating environment, significant incidents, and audit findings, providing actionable recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Risk Capability Building: Build and sustain risk management capability within the organisation by offering support and guidance across various business functions.
- Governance Leadership: Lead risk management governance activities, including overseeing risk committees and working groups, ensuring effective decision-making and accountability.
- Change Management Support: Provide support to embed end-to-end risk management in enterprise-wide change management initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in risk management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- At least 2-5 years of experience in enterprise risk management, with a proven track record in developing and implementing risk management frameworks.
- Strong understanding of business operations, strategy planning, and project management.
- Experience in conducting risk analysis, developing risk profiles, and advising senior leadership.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex risk information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong leadership and governance experience, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
