Offering 176 rooms and a relaxed restaurant and lobby bar, we are located centrally offering a quintessential Sydney experience.

THE ROLE:

We are looking for an effective Food and Beverage Supervisor who can support the delivery of day-to-day operations in the Hotel Food and Beverage Outlets 

This is a part-time position and reports to our Venue Manager.  

1. Service Operations:

  • Oversee and coordinate the breakfast service, ensuring timely preparation and high-quality service delivery.
  • Occasionally supervise dinner service, stepping in as needed to maintain operational consistency.
  • Monitor the setup and cleanliness of the dining area, buffet stations, and other service areas before and after service.
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, including food safety and hygiene standards.

2. Team Leadership:

  • Lead, motivate, and support the team during service, providing guidance and handling any operational challenges.
  • Train and develop staff to uphold the company’s service standards.
  • Schedule staff shifts and manage attendance to ensure adequate coverage during service hours.

3. Guest Experience:

  • Greet and engage with guests, addressing concerns or special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Strive to exceed guest expectations by delivering exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences.

4. Administrative Duties:

  • Assist in monitoring inventory and ordering supplies for breakfast and dinner services.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping, including guest feedback, staff performance, and daily reports.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to manage service flow and address any issues promptly.

5. Financial Accountability:

  • Support the F&B Manager in meeting revenue goals through upselling, promoting specials, and monitoring wastage.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling and reporting at the end of shifts.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role in a restaurant environment
  • Understanding of current food and wine trends.
  • Established knowledge of a-la-carte, breakfast buffet and beverage service

  • A natural ability to connect with people from around the globe.
