About the role 

As an Assessor, you will support the Education Delivery team by grading influxes of Assessments. The role will encompass the assessment of students work utilising the Online Campus and required technologies provided by the Organisation. Weekly workloads may vary depending on business requirements and student activity throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities include:

Training & Assessment – Conduct online delivery; Marking; Provide constructive feedback to learners

Compliance & complaints mitigation – Assistance with student cases & complaints; Support continuous improvement & complete professional development courses

About you:

To succeed in the role, you are a dedicated Educator. You are passionate about the industry and have a willingness to continue to share your experience and industry knowledge with students. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and have an innovative approach to education delivery. You understand current VET (Vocational Education and Training) policy and developments and innovative approaches to vocational education and training.

To be considered for the position you will have:

  • Current ABN Number
  • Valid Working with Children’s Check
  • Relevant Industry qualifications, minimum 1 AQF higher than the course being delivered
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Permanent or equivalent capacity in an Industry specific role related to the qualification being delivered.
  • Ability to provide evidence of registration to relevant industry associations and peak bodies as required for the industry area covered by the qualifications being delivered (must be considered current according to industry standards)
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40110 including Units of Competency TAEASS502 and TAELLN411) or TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development
  • Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs assessment
  • Knowledge of AQF 2013 and other relevant accreditation schemes
