About the Role
We are seeking professionals who have the capacity to act as subject matter experts and trainers and assessors as the needs arise. The role of the online trainer as a professional educator is to deliver, guide and add value and experience to the learning process.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for trainers and assessors to join the team to deliver the following qualifications for Swinburne Open Education in the online learning environment:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
- Certificate IV in Disability
- Certificate IV in Ageing Support
Your Responsibilities:
- Delivering online classrooms to students, answering student inquiries within the learning platform
- Ensuring support is offered to students via the online learning platform and available systems
- Provide constructive feedback to students within the Swinburne Open Education guidelines.
- Assist with student cases and complaints mitigation.
- Conduct direct observations and assessment interviews of students and assess outcomes.
About you:
- Passion for Age and Disability Support
- Strong desire to share your expertise with the next generation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Diploma or above (AQS Level 5) in Aging and Disability Support or related field
- 3 years of Industry Experience in Aging and Disability Support
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or Equivalent
- Strong Familiarity with Theory and Practices of Ageing and Disability Support
- Understanding of Vocational Education Systems and Policies.
