About the Role

We have exciting opportunities for two Senior Project Managers to join our Digital & Technology team.

Reporting to the Head of Delivery Management, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning and executing portfolio projects for Super Retail Group (SRG), to ensure deliverables are on time, within scope, on budget, and meet defined quality standards that enable the realisation of desired business value.

In this role, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining integrated project plans, including activities, resources, timelines, and budget.
  • Ensuring effective communication, coordination, and resource allocation among workstreams within the project.
  • Leading the project team, providing direction, support and motivation.
  • Managing day-to-day project activities, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Identifying and mitigating project-specific risks.
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders to secure support and address concerns.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.
  • Tracking overall project progress and performance, and regularly update stakeholders and the project steering committee on project progress and issues.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering end-to-end projects in the Technology space.
  • Understanding of Project Management methodologies, frameworks and approaches, including Agile, Scaled Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid approaches.
  • Problem-solving skills including the ability to focus on details while maintaining “big picture” view.
  • Experience in Financial and Change Management principles.
  • Ability to apply modern delivery approaches in scaled delivery environment, applying agility, design thinking, adaptive planning and work breakdown techniques to achieve incremental value drops.
  • Demonstrated capability of leading a team to achieve against stretch goals and targets.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Desirable: Project Management Certification (e.g. PMI, PMBOK, Prince2)

Your highly developed interpersonal, communication, presentation skills as well as strong customer focus will be key to this role.
