About the Role
Due to an internal developmental move, a dynamic opportunity has just opened up for a Senior Commercial Analyst to join our rebel Commercial Team. This is your chance to be part of a fast-paced environment where every decision counts.
Based at our rebel Home Ground in Rhodes and reporting to the GM Commercial, rebel, you will have a key role in partnering with our Retail and Property teams to drive profitable growth. Through your reporting, analysis, and insights, you’ll be shaping critical financial decisions and influencing key performance metrics that directly impact the success of our business.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting the Commercial, Retail and Property teams in the development of the annual budget and strategic plan for the rebel business.
- Providing commercial and strategic support to the Retail Team across a number of key initiatives, such as Base store analysis; Workforce planning; Cost Savings; and Campaigns.
- Providing commercial and strategic support to the property team to provide more rigor around network optimisation decisions – particularly focused around Reporting; Capital allocation; NPV Build; and Site selection and strategic investment planning based on ROCE metrics.
About you
We are seeking a driven and dynamic individual with a passion for excellence. In addition, you will have:
- Experience as a Senior Commercial Analyst, Finance Business Partner or any similar role, with strong skills in financial analysis and insights development
- Ability to translate financial data into clear and meaningful insights
- Demonstrated ability to collaboratively influence business partners
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite particularly with Excel
- Financial modelling skills including extensive use of Business Intelligence tools
- Financial and Budget management skills
- Tertiary Qualification in Finance/Accounting/Business and CPA, ACA or CIMA (desirable)
- Retail (or similar) industry experience is desirable but not essential
- Big 4 experience is desirable but not essential
Your highly developed stakeholder management and communication skills, along with your ability to influence and collaborate with various stakeholders will be key to this role.
