ABOUT THE ROLE 

Reporting into the Head of Process Improvement, as the Process Improvement Analyst you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and delivering improvement initiatives for the Group that contribute to the delivery of SRG strategy. You will design new and alignment of existing operating models, and contribute to the analysis, planning and sequencing of initiatives. You will consult extensively with business leaders and executives across all brands and functions to capture improvement objectives and requirements, work through models and change impacts, and works designed initiatives through to embedded operation. Rather than working out the right way a process should be done, you'll consider if we are doing the right thing and respectfully challenge the way things are being done currently. Importantly, you'll focus on complex problems that are important to senior leaders and those that will have a significant impact if changed.

This permanent, full-time opportunity is based in Strathpine in the northern Brisbane suburbs with the flexibility to also work from home regularly.

Responsibilities include:

  • Significant facilitation, collaboration and communication with stakeholders – you'll use data to drive understanding, work together face to face, synthesise and explain concepts, and to communicate business problems and opportunities to senior leaders with ease.
  • Work to understand the stated and unstated business needs and turn them into opportunities for the business to improve and succeed in a Lean and Agile manner.
  • Utilise SRG's Process Improvement Framework and align with Business Architecture and Operating Model to ensure consistent, timely, and accurate outcomes for stakeholders.
  • Engage and collaborate with a variety of professionals across the group including technology, change, strategy, data, performance to achieve valuable outcomes together. 

ABOUT YOU 

  • Significant experience in a business process improvement role - leading initiatives and project teams with full accountability for value delivery.
  • Practical, demonstrated experience with process improvement approaches, frameworks, tools, and practices (i.e. Lean, TQM, Kaizen, PDCA, Six Sigma)
  • Proven expertise working with process decomposition architectures (i.e. APQC), operating model design, and business process modelling (I.e. BPMN).
  • A passion for working with human centred design (HCD), agile and lean delivery principles.
  • A bias to action – you thrive when you're driving to get things done and have the discipline to deliver quality on time within scope, every time.
  • You bring together your sense of curiosity and insight to see the bigger picture.
  • You have a passion and willingness to learn, a desire to own the outcomes of your work and a natural resilience to adjust and adapt if things don’t go as planned.
