About the Role

As a result of internal movement, we are looking for an experienced DC Planning Manager - Labour & Flow to be based at our Altona North DC (Distribution Centre). The role will initially be based at the Altona North DC before moving to our brand new, custom built facility in Truganina due for completion in 2025.

Reporting to the National Planning Manager, the DC Planning Manager - Labour & Flow is responsible for managing the labour plan and forecasting, linking brand supply planning to achievable product flow based on shift planning and labour resourcing availability.

Working closely as the conduit between the Super Retail Group distribution centres, group supply chain departments and retail brands, you will ensure optimal and achievable labour planning is deployed to deliver warehousing activities. Furthermore, you will provide analysis and recommendations to DC Managers on labour plans and labour by DC department, to achieve the balance between plan delivery and performance measure achievement.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Extensive Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot tables, financial and operational modelling
  • Knowledge and operability of Warehouse Management Systems
  • Experience with financial reporting & forecasting
  • KPI Management for multi-dimensional operational planning, including labour planning and financial targets, and tracking and reporting performance to targets
  • Data Analysis skills and the ability to take inputs from multiple sources and construct a detailed plan
  • Understanding of multi-product, multi-customer product movements

Your ability to work with broad stakeholder groups as well as manage operational decisions with complex priorities will be key to this role.
