About the Role

Due to an internal developmental move, we are looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analytics team.

Reporting to the Financial Planning and Reporting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business value through comprehensive reporting, analysis, and insights on key financial metrics and performance indicators. Your responsibilities will span various Group functions, tailored to the specific areas of your role, which will include but not be limited to:

  • Partnering with business units to enhance value through financial and ESG performance.
  • Collecting and reviewing data to support budget development and financial planning.
  • Delivering regular forecasts and providing insights into key performance drivers.
  • Assisting business leaders in understanding their performance against budgets and forecasts.

This role is ideally based in Strathpine (Brisbane) with a hybrid work model, but we also welcome applications from candidates located in Sydney (Rhodes office location)

About you

To deliver successful outcomes in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in a Senior Financial or Commercial role with exposure to financial analysis, modelling and reporting
  • Customer-centric approach, with strong commercial acumen and excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Advanced skills in Excel and SAP would be an advantage
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly would be greatly regarded
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Finance/Accounting/Business and preferably a post graduate qualification
  • CPA/CA or equivalent desired
