About the Role...

As Payroll Officer, you’ll play a key role in processing payroll efficiently while providing exceptional customer service to team members and external stakeholders. You’ll ensure compliance, assist in process improvements, and support the smooth operation of payroll functions.

Day to Day...

βœ” Payroll Processing – Accurately process payroll in line with company policies and compliance requirements.

βœ” Payroll Administration – Complete all administrative duties related to payroll efficiently.

βœ” Compliance Support – Ensure adherence to enterprise agreements, awards, data governance, and privacy regulations.

βœ” Process Improvement – Identify opportunities to enhance payroll processes and recommend solutions.

βœ” Stakeholder Management – Build trusted relationships with team members and external partners.

What You Bring...

βœ… Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a payroll processing role in a multi-site or multi-brand company
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to analyse data and provide meaningful insights
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team

βœ… Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge of Australian payroll and superannuation regulations
  • Experience working with multiple modern awards/industrial instruments
  • Retail industry experience
  • Tertiary qualification in Business Administration or Finance (desired)
