About the Role: Focused on creating safe and productive environments, you’ll develop and implement plans, programs, and projects to maintain our leasehold assets to the highest standards. This includes managing asset repairs, replacements, and maintenance projects to drive cost-effective and operationally efficient outcomes.
Day to Day, not limited to…
- Asset Management: Ensure the planning and delivery of building maintenance to meet agreed standards, providing a safe and compliant environment that enhances the team’s performance and supports the omni-retail customer experience
- Business Improvement: Drive cost reductions in Capital and OpEx spend across all maintenance activities
- Project Management: Oversee the successful delivery of programs and projects, meeting or exceeding time, cost, and quality targets, with detailed reporting, audit support, and continuous improvement initiatives
- People Leadership: Lead and motivate your team, fostering a high-performing culture, developing team capability through targeted professional development, succession planning, and providing key growth opportunities
About You…
- Proven experience in asset management & project management within a retail or multi-site environment, ensuring optimal utilisation and longevity of assets and delivering on time, within scope and budget projects
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling strong collaboration with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders
- Proven leadership abilities, including experience in mentoring and managing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Strategic planning and execution experience, with the ability to align asset and project management goals with broader business objectives
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to assess risk, optimize asset performance, and drive cost efficiencies
- Knowledge of compliance, safety, and regulatory requirements related to asset management in a retail or commercial setting.
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges
- Proficiency in information technology (including design and implementation)
