About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Digital Experience, Insights and Analytics, the Business Intelligence Analyst (known internally as Omni Channel Analyst) is responsible for developing, enhancing and managing data technologies, as well as reporting on insights for the Digital Experience team, Omni domain and divisional stakeholders. In this role, you will provide data driven customer insights in order to guide the Groups Digital Strategy and advise of performance.

Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Sourcing and preparing data for analysis and performing standard business intelligence analysis activities.
  • Using a visualisation product, as guided, to design and create data visuals.
  • Applying standard data modelling and design techniques based upon a detailed understanding of requirements.
  • Owning, maintaining and enhancing the core Omni data platform for the Group.
  • Implementation and maintenance of tracking technologies to capture and understand customer behaviour, and outcomes from optimisations.

Whilst most of our team members are based in Strathpine, interested candidates located in other states are also welcome to apply.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in a BI Analyst / Reporting Analyst / Visualisation Analyst capacity
  • Demonstrated expertise in using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Good understanding of Omni Retail / e-Commerce (essential)
  • Understanding of digital technologies as well as mobile consumer usage and shopping behaviours
  • Reporting and visualisation skills
  • Experience in business requirements analysis and business modelling
  • Understanding or experience with UX / CX design
  • A keen interest in analysing and identifying customer behaviour trends
  • Proven knowledge and interest in digital experience optimisation with a demonstrated understanding of how data is utilised to support
  • Experience in collecting, analysing and validating multiple data types from multiple sources

Your ability to communicate effectively and engage with different stakeholders in the business will be key to this role.
