ABOUT THE ROLE  

Reporting into the Senior Property Manager a new, permanent opportunity based out of Strathpine in Brisbane or Rhodes in Sydney has become available. Working within the Property & Store Development team, you will ensure the timely and effective completion of repairs and scheduled maintenance services, delivering an elevated level of customer service across the group of stores in your region. You will coordinate and monitor the facility management of retail tenancies, support offices and distribution centres including all plant, equipment, and services. 

You will be joining a fun and inclusive team that values flexible work where you can be full-time or part-time (4 days/week).  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Assess and action all requests for maintenance. 
  • Management of stakeholders to ensure existing buildings and their services are maintained to the agreed conditions. 
  • Coordinate trade partners to action repairs, maintenance, and procurements requests. 
  • Develop scope of works. 
  • Review, interpret and enforce lease agreement obligations. 
  • Consult and adhere to current policies and procedures while looking for improvements that can be implemented. 
  • Provide effective communication through email and phone to store teams, trade partners and other key stake holders to establish solid ongoing relationships. 

You will bring: 

  • Expertise in the maintenance of property assets, from the retail or commercial real estate industries. 
  • Demonstarted experience raising Purchase Orders, ideally within SAP. 
  • Intermediate experience with Excel where you can review and analyse data.  
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and administration skills. 
  • Ability to work well under pressure.  
  • Confidence to escalate issues to other teams when required.  
  • Outstanding customer service skills. 
  • A positive attitude and approach to achieving all required tasks.
