About the role:

We have an opportunity for a Pricing Analyst based in our Support office in Strathpine, Brisbane. The role will be responsible for reliably, accurately and efficiently supporting the delivery of competitor price benchmarking and market insights. The successful candidate will drive change management and continuous improvements and be the key interface between Pricing COE and the Brands Merchandising team.

The key responsibilities of this role will be to:

  • Maintaining competitor article matching to collect key retail pricing metrics for our defined competitor set
  • Conducting regular reviews to support opportunity identification, continuous improvement and benefits realisation through the recommendation of price adjustments based on competitor and market insights
  • Producing ongoing assessments on customer’s willingness to pay matrix and price elasticity and NPS analysis
  • Supporting the business to establish ‘customer perceived value attributes’ by Category to support future price and promo settings
  • Working in conjunction with the brand and pricing COE with the development and maintenance of category and sub category pricing strategies
  • Proactively conduct deep dive pricing & promotions analysis to provide recommendations for gross margin dollar opportunities and present findings to relevant business stakeholders
  • Continue to improve existing pricing and promotional processes
  • Establish and build partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will be a results driven and outcome focused individual, you will also bring:

  • 3 + years’ of professional work experience preferably B2C
  • Intermediate Excel and SQL skills
  • Ability to discern actionable insights from data and reports
  • Experience in internal and external relationship management
  • Retail business experience
  • Ability to manage time, organise and set priorities to meet deadlines
  • Ability to solve problems with cross-functional teams and various departments
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work with large volumes of data
  • Ability to learn and be comfortable with the various systems to support pricing and promotional analytics
