About the Role: You will support the Merchandise team in managing the execution of selected product ranges across omni-channels, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve key business goals.
Day to Day, but not limited to:
- Sales & Financial Performance: Support the Category Manager in achieving sales, GP, and inventory budgets by developing product ranges, optimizing profitability through inventory management and sourcing strategies, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet financial KPIs.
- Product & Range Management: Support the development and implementation of product ranges, manage range changes and data accuracy, optimise store assortments, and handle trade partner contracts and reconciliations.
- Marketing & Advertising: Collaborate with teams to execute campaigns, ensure accurate and compliant marketing materials, and manage promotions and support claims
- Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, ACL standards, and consumer expectations while minimizing errors
- Communications: Provide stakeholder updates, resolve customer and store queries, and maintain positive relationships with trade partners and internal teams.
- Quality Management: Ensure product data accuracy, including pricing, inventory, regulatory documentation, and mandatory standards.

What you will bring:
- Retail Category Management Experience: Proven experience in a similar retail role, managing product ranges, inventory, and sales performance to achieve financial KPIs.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse sales data, inventory trends, and market conditions to optimize product assortments and drive profitability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with multiple teams such as marketing, sales, and supply chain to execute product strategies and campaigns.
- Product & Range Development: Knowledge of product development processes, including range planning, new product implementation, and assortment optimization.
- Strong Communication & Negotiation Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, including trade partners, and manage contracts and reconciliations.
