About The Role:
You will support the Category Manager to maximise commercial outcomes through alignment of range offering with trade partners, customers and the market.
Day to day, not limited to:
- Sales & Financial Performance: Assist in development of product ranges to deliver on sales, GP and budgets
- Product and Range Management: Support in effective product and range management across designated category and new product range development
- Marketing & Advertising: Work collaboratively with marketing, online and VM to deliver engaging and successful campaigns in store and online

About You:
- Category Management Exposure: Experience in a similar role or stepping up from a Category Coordinator position, with some understanding of range strategies and category management within a retail environment
- Customer-Centric Approach: Demonstrates a strong focus on understanding and meeting customer needs, delivering exceptional service and tailored solutions to drive satisfaction and loyalty
- Strategic and Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyse market trends, sales data, and consumer behaviour to support development and execution of category strategies that drive growth and profitability.
- Relationship Building: Skilled in developing and maintaining strong partnerships with suppliers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and alignment.
- Good Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced computer skills to manage data and reporting requirements and ability to pick up new tech systems easily
