About the Role
Due to our continuous growth, we are looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analytics team at Strathpine. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to further develop their career, or an individual looking to transition from a Big 4 firm and make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.
Reporting to one of our Commercial Managers, the Commercial Analyst will be responsible for the provision of commercial analytical support and reporting for the Commercial Sustainability Program and Property area for the Group. Your role will vary across different Group functions, tailored to your specific responsibilities, which include but not be limited to:
- Providing commercial analytical support to assigned business units, primarily the Sustainability and Property area.
- Collecting and reviewing data to aid in budget development and financial planning.
- Delivering regular forecasts and offering insights into key performance drivers.
- Assisting business leaders in understanding their performance against budgets and forecasts.
About you
To deliver successful outcomes in this role, you will have:
- Experience in a Commercial Analyst capacity with strong skills in financial analysis & insights development
- Ability to translate financial data into clear and meaningful insights
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite particularly with Excel
- Financial modelling and financial / budget management skills
- Tertiary Qualification in Finance/Accounting/Business and working towards or have completed CPA, ACA or CIMA (desirable)
- Retail industry experience is desirable but not required
- Experience in Sustainability and Property reporting will be highly regarded but not required
Your highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, as well as your strong customer focus will be key to this role.
