ABOUT THE ROLE 

Due to growth a new opportunity has become available to lead the reception team in Brisbane (Strathpine) and Sydney (Rhodes). Based in Strathpine five days a week, you will report into the Business Manager in Operations and create a collaborative culture and consistent processes to ensure the smooth operation of the business and harmonised ways of working. As the primary receptionist, you will be the first point of contact, representing the company with a high level of customer service and professionalism.  

Importantly, you will be available to work a roster between 7:30am and 5:00pm and travel to Sydney up to three times per year.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide exceptional front-desk service, handling administrative tasks, and maintaining a welcoming and professional environment for clients, visitors, and team.  
  • Training, scheduling, and supervising the three Brisbane and one Sydney-based Receptionists to ensure consistency and excellence in service delivery. 
  • Document all standard operating procedures and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the experience at all reception touch points. 
  • Manage budget planning and resource allocation for reception, ensuring compliance with the Clerk award. 
  • Ensure all aspects of administration is completed in a professional and timely manner including but not limited to all aspects of mail (inbound and outbound), invoice processing, stationery ordering and answering phone calls and queries from team members. 
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and create development plans for team members. 

ABOUT YOU  

  • Significant and demonstrated experience leading a team in a frontline, customer-facing environment such as a corporate office reception, a contact centre, retail store or medical reception. 
  • Must be able to work in Strathpine office 5 days per week between 7:30am and 5:00pm (four longer days and one-half day). 
  • Available to travel to Sydney 2-3 times per year. 
  • Experience creating and managing your team’s roster. 
  • An understanding of the complexity and limitation of managing staff who are employed on the Clerks Award. 
  • Exceptional customer service, communication skills and professionalism.  
  • Expertise in documenting and streamlining processes amongst a team to create consistency and excellence.
