ABOUT THE ROLE 

In this newly created role, reporting into the Head of Operating Efficiency within the Operations business unit, you will be tasked with identifying efficiency opportunities and developing processes improvements to reduce costs of doing business and uplift overall productivity. Working across all four brands and all business units, you will support the Head of Operating efficiency to both develop and deliver the group Efficiency plan aligned with organisation strategic plans. Your expertise in process improvement using Lean Six Sigma and other Continuous Improvement methodologies will be invaluable to your success.

This hybrid permanent opportunity can be based in a state-of-the-art office in Strathpine (Brisbane) office or the Rhodes (Sydney) office when you’re not WFH.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with the Brands to identify and deploy efficiency initiatives which improve the team member and customer experience, and increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Analyse existing processes, identify areas for enhancement, and implement strategies to reduce waste and complexity.
  • Identify technology drivers of ineffective process, analyse and identify efficiency opportunities and support the development of technology programs to deliver efficiency outcomes.
  • Manage complex, cross-functional projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality results that meet business goals.
  • Partner with stakeholders to scope efforts, secure resources, and set milestones to drive successful efficiency initiative delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Operating Performance, Commercial and Data and Analytics Platform teams, to develop performance reporting capability that support the management and monitoring of both efficiency and productivity performance for the Group.
  • Solve complex problems through the application of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies such as value stream mapping, kaizen, process mapping, data collection, waste analysis, inferential statistics, and hypothesis testing.


ABOUT YOU 

  • As a seasoned efficiency expert, you come from the retail, consumer goods or manufacturing industries and have a strong track record of identifying efficiency opportunities and implementing new processes to increase productivity.
  • You’re adept at driving commercial outcomes through a centralised process re-engineering function where you’ve partnered with a wide variety of teams across large, complex businesses.
  • You’re Six Sigma qualified and have used LEAN Project Management or other Continuous Improvement methodologies extensively.
  • You are skilled at leveraging analytics and insights from workforce planning reporting to identify process improvement opportunities.
