About the Role

Are you ready to be part of something big? We're on the hunt for a dynamic Integration Specialist to join our team and be a key player in an ERP implementation project! This is your chance to take charge of the development, automation, and maintenance of our cutting-edge systems integration stack, as well as lead, coach, and help the team grow. In this role you will not only have the opportunity to utilise your technical skills, but also learn and broaden your skillset.

Reporting to the Head of Integration Platforms, you will deliver solutions to meet the functional requirements of Product Owners, and champion the re-use of patterns and existing integrations.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • System Design: Creates and embeds standard approaches and established design patterns to create new designs for simple systems or system components
  • System Integration: Defines the software modules needed for an integration build and produces a build definition for each generation of the software.
  • Software Design: Undertakes complete design of moderately complex software applications or components.
  • Software Development: Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends, and refactors moderately complex programs/scripts.
  • Incident & Problem Management: Prioritises and diagnoses incidents, investigating causes of incidents and seeks resolution.

This role offers the flexibility to be based anywhere across Australia – work from the location that suits you best! Alternatively, if you prefer an office environment, we have offices in Strathpine (Brisbane) and Rhodes (Sydney) ready for you!

About you

To deliver successful outcomes in this role, you will have:

  • Integration technologies experience: SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, SAP API Manager, SAP Advanced Event Mesh, Edge Integration Cell, APIs, Web Services (REST & SOAP)
  • Ability to analyse solutions across technical boundaries
  • Ability to define and implement reusable integration patterns
  • Comfort with frequent, incremental code, testing and deployment
  • Ability to convert functional requirements / user stories to technical requirements
  • Experience with AWS, MuleSoft or Solace will be beneficial.

Desirable:

  • Understanding of software development concepts and practices, including Agile development, and various technology platforms, including SAP, Java, API development, and AWS.
  • Experience developing on API First, Event Driven Architecture and SOA / ESB architecture
