About the Role: 

As a Category Manager, you'll shape the customer experience by driving category strategy, profitability, and product innovation. 

Day to Day…

  • Lead category management initiatives to maximise sales, margin, and market share within the automotive sector
  • Develop and execute category strategies tailored to trade customer requirements
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform decision-making
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive end-to-end category performance
  • Negotiate with suppliers to optimise product assortment and pricing strategies

About You:

  • Category Management Expertise – Proven success in category lifecycle management, including product selection, pricing, promotions, and performance analysis within Automotive (Serviceable Parts) industry
  • Strategic & Data-Driven – Ability to develop and execute growth-focused strategies, leveraging data insights to drive decision-making and adapt to market trends.
  • Customer-Centric Approach – Strong understanding of trade customers' needs, delivering tailored solutions that enhance the shopping experience.
  • Relationship Building & Negotiation – Skilled in supplier negotiations and cross-functional collaboration to optimise category performance.
  • Technical & Analytical Skills – Proficient in data analysis tools and reporting systems, using insights to drive profitability and efficiency.
