Our Opportunity

Star Group is offering an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate who is motivated to further their career with a Tier 1 electrical, communications and maintenance contractor. We are looking for an experienced and qualified Electrician to join our Northern Region Team.

Project Scope

BAE is redeveloping its Williamtown facility to deliver enhanced service to the aviation industry.

The Williamtown facility is an existing site that sits adjacent to the Newcastle Airport, configured of:

• Aircraft Hangars
• Carpark
• Office-Administration areas
• Warehouse & Storage areas

The Qualifications & Experience We Are Seeking:

• General LV power reticulation experience
• Previous experience in defence projects or related Justice department buildings would be an asset. 
• Valid Electrical Licence and trade qualifications (Essential)..
• Valid Driver's Licence to attend sites and be able to drive a service van.
• Strong problem-solving skills concerning technical fault-finding
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills with an ability to build relationships
• Experience working in a commercial environment and complying with safety standards
• Able to work in a team environment and support and assist team members when required
• Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and achieve high levels of quality with attention to detail
