Opportunity

As an Office Administrator, you will be a key player in our ACT Branch team. Your responsibilities will include providing top-notch administrative support, managing receptionist activities, and ensuring smooth office operations. You’ll be essential in allocating and scheduling work, managing document control, and processing invoices.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for the team
  • Scheduling and allocating work to tradespeople 
  • Support document control and manage project administration activities 
  • Maintain and update all relevant databases for the team 
  • Coordinate all invoicing for projects, including accounts payable and accounts receivable 
  • Support and assist with quotations and tenders with the client and subcontractors  
  • Ensure the office is presentable and all operational functionalities are accounted for including inventory and disposal
  • Other Administrative requirements 
  • Assist with safety compliance and safety administrative activities for the project 
  • Comply with Internal Policies / Procedures 

Qualifications:

  • Administrative experience in the electrical or construction industry (desirable)
  • Completed White Card (nice to have)
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office suite – (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience in scheduling and coordinating trades to achieve targets
  • Strong accounts and invoicing experience
  • Flexible and adaptable to support the project team
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills over the phone.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
  • A proactive and motivated attitude with a willingness to develop and learn new skills.
  • An organised person with the ability to multi-task and ensure deadlines and client priorities are met.
  • Ability to work autonomously and maintain a busy office environment.
