Drive Excellence in Communications Project. Join Our Team as a Communications Foreman.

The ideal candidate provides leadership and is responsible for supervising telecommunications crew members, sub-contractors and workplace participants to maximise productivity. The candidate will ensure the health and safety of workplace participants by following HSE guidelines to achieve quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Health & Safety: The Foreman must provide leadership that results in a safe work culture, is responsible and accountable for the safety of the workplace participants under their direction, and must understand and accept the importance and legal liability of the role

Leadership & Supervision: Responsible for the coordination of the crew and must understand and consistently apply the Foreman’s roles and responsibilities. The Foreman is required to be involved and supportive of any day-to-day disciplinary decisions.

Planning & Scheduling: Accountable for following project plans and schedules and ensuring that crews under their direction perform daily and weekly activities to meet productivity goals

People & Culture: Accountable for the adherence to policies and procedures by workplace participants to ensure a respectful and inclusive work environment

Quality Control: Must ensure that the completed work meets quality standards

Administration: the candidate is accountable for the preparation of reports as required by the company


What are we looking for:

  • Hold a valid Registered ACMA Cablers Licence
  • Experience in focusing and being able to direct and communicate with staff, Subcontractors and other contractors on site with the aim in achieving a defect free Project which is completed on time and under budget.
  • Able to communicate effectively in writing to complete reports and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with safety requirement and supporting crews with health and safety processes.
  • Strong construction industry knowledge based over a number of trades and be extremely competent in interpreting drawings.
  • Able to identify problems early and find solutions. Be assertive and proactive to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail.
