We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee the John Hunter Hospital project. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a landmark development that will impact the community for years to come.

Our people are our greatest asset, and we’re committed to fostering individual strengths to ensure the success of our projects. We’re expanding our team for the John Hunter Hospital Campus Redevelopment Project and are seeking a Site Supervisor to lead on-site operations.

About the Project:

Health Infrastructure is redeveloping the John Hunter Health Campus to enhance facilities and expand capacity, meeting the growing healthcare demands in Greater Newcastle and northern NSW. This includes the new Acute Services Building (ASB) and refurbishments to the existing hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and manage daily site operations.
  • Conduct site inspections and maintain project documentation.
  • Assist in labour forecasting requirements
  • Ensuring the health and safety of workplace participants
  • Following HSE guidelines
  • Quality outcome
  • Productivity of work team
  • Procurement of materials, equipment and goods up to the agreed value.
  • Management of sub-contractors
  • Client liaison through verbal correspondence and meetings

The Qualifications & Experience We Are Seeking

  • Licence Electrician with a minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Experience in the industry and worked on similar projects as a licence electrician.
  • Experience in leading crews and ensuring crew achieve results.
  • Experience with achieving project results and being able to direct and communicate with staff and contractors on site.
  • Experience in achieving a defect-free project which is completed on time and under budget.
