We are looking for a detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to join our team and play a crucial role in managing our contractual agreements and projects across the business.
Our Opportunity
Star Group is offering an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate who is motivated to further their career with a Tier 1 electrical, communications and maintenance contractor. The Contracts Administrator will provide contract and administrative services and support to the project team on-site and coordinate activities relating to the contract to ensure performance requirements, delivery and schedules are met.
The Role
The Contracts Administrator will provide efficient and effective management of commercial and contractual matters and active day-to-day administration of the head contract and any procurement-related matters. Ensure all contract documentation for project is recorded, accurate and timely. Review contracts and provide support for project teams to ensure compliance with contractual obligations. This includes document control, implementation, processing purchase orders and assisting subcontractor management. The key responsibilities include:
- Provide contract support for projects
- Support document control and manage project administration activities
- Manage all relevant databases for projects
- Subcontractor management
- Conduct thorough contract reviews to identify risks, opportunities, and compliance requirements
- Assist with the management of contractual variations to the project.
- Coordinate all invoicing for projects, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Support and assist with quotations and tenders with the client and subcontractors for projects
- Other Administrative requirements
The Qualifications & Experience We Are Seeking
- Contracts Administration experience in the electrical or construction industry (desirable)
- Completed White Card
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office suite – (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Strong accounts and invoicing experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable to support the project team
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of process
