Exciting Opportunity for a Skilled Communication Technician!


We are seeking a skilled Communication Technician with extensive experience in data cabling, comms room fit-out works, and general electrical installation and maintenance. This role also involves providing leadership and overseeing workplace apprentices under your direction and control.

Our Opportunity

As a Communication Technician, you may lead a crew or work independently, depending on the tasks at hand. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the installation, maintenance, repair, and servicing of electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems across various industries and environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure health and safety compliance
  • Plan and schedule tasks efficiently
  • Maintain quality control standards
  • Provide leadership and supervision
  • Handle administrative duties
  • Adhere to internal policies and procedures

About You:

  • Proven electrical experience in service and maintenance
  • Strong data cabling skills
  • White Card (essential)
  • Electrical Licence (essential)
  • Elevated Work Platform (EWPA card) (essential)
  • Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working with a diverse team including subcontractors
  • Proactive and motivated with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Knowledge of and experience with safety requirements, processes, and procedures
  • Competent in interpreting drawings and industry knowledge across multiple trades
