Mobile Plant Operator

The role

Adbri currently has an opportunity for a multi-skilled Mobile Plant Operator/Quarry Worker to join the team at our Penrose Quarry in New South Wales in a full-time permanent role.

Our Quarry Workers operate a variety of mobile and fixed plant, including loaders, excavators, dozers, dump trucks, water cart, service truck as well as fixed and mobile crushing and screening plants.

Currently we are specifically seeking applications from candidates who have experience in operating front end loaders, excavators, dump trucks, dozers, watercarts as well as experience with crushing and screening plants.

This role is available on a full-time permanent basis working on our day shift starting at 5:30am, Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays as and when required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, health and environment standards are maintained.
• Operate mobile plant and equipment.
• Undertake housekeeping and basic maintenance.
• Occasional manual handling and general labouring

What you will need to succeed

• Current RII competencies as well as certificate 3 or 4 in extractive industries will be highly regarded.
• Understanding of fixed crushing and screening operations
• Current drivers’ licence
• Demonstrated experience operating mobile plant and equipment in a quarry or mine
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Strong commitment to health and safety
• Work in a team environment.
