Mowing Team Member

About the Role

Skyline is seeking talented mower and brushcutter operators on our QLD team.

As a part of the team, you will be responsible for routine maintenance works in council-controlled roadsides and laneways.

This is a mobile crew so you will work on different sites each day, across the Woolloongabba local area. You will be mowing or brushcutting council controlled roadsides and verges. You will work in a team with a team leader and often meet at a central location, jump into the work ute and travel to site together as a team.

Hourly rates are above award and dependent on experience.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, Brushcutting, detailing, litter removal.
• Application of herbicide via backpack sprayer.
• Accurate daily reporting of serviced sites.
• Observing and reporting any issues that may impact service delivery.
• Ensure all documentation and reporting related to the task performed, including risk assessments, SWMS, pre-start inspections, timesheets etc. are completed as required.

About You

• Ability to operate Zero Turn Mowers, brushcutters and backpack blowers.
• Previous Industry experience.
• Qualification in Parks & Gardens or Horticulture desirable.
• Current and valid manual driver's licence.
• Physically fit, reliable, punctual and hard-working.
• Enjoy working as part of a team.
