About the role
The Regional Manager of the Workforce Development Team will have management responsibilities for the Transition to Work (TTW) program which plays a pivotal role in driving employment and educational outcomes for jobseekers aged 15 – 24 in the Great Southern Region of WA, as well as the Career Transition Assistance (CTA) program which is facilitated across three Employment Regions in WA.
The role can be based in Perth but will have travel requirements across the Great Southern Wheatbelt region regularly and adhoc travel to Esperance and Kalgoorlie.
No one day will be the same as you manage a team of Career Coaches and Trainers as well as your own small caseload towards the same goal – finding meaningful and ongoing educational and employment opportunities for job seekers in the employment regions.
Reporting to the departmental GM, you will develop and maintain excellent relationships with local employers, TAFE and stakeholders, including Workforce Australia, to achieve your goals.
Whilst having a collaborative mindset, you will be able to make the decisions needed to lead the team to success.

About you
The right person will have:
· Proven managerial lead of a small team
· Demonstrable organisational and time management skills
· Experience in handling a caseload of young people in a similar setting
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Be goal-oriented and a team player
· Demonstrate the ability to manage confidentiality and administrative tasks
You will be required to hold a current driver's license and be able to undertake and hold a satisfactory national police clearance and a working with children check.
