About the role

Our Youth Career Coaches are responsible for delivering high-quality career coaching and guidance for young job seekers as part of the Transition to Work (TTW) program in Northam.

You will be proactive, compassionate and innovative in how you find opportunities for the young people you represent.

Each day will bring meaningful challenges as you help your clients set goals, provide on-on-one mentorship, identify areas of interest and help them upskill to reach their potential and find ongoing education or employment opportunities.

Crucial to the role is your ability to establish and maintain relationships with local employers so you can source employment opportunities for your clients.

About you

The right person will have:

·       Experience in handling a caseload of young people in a similar setting

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·       Be goal-oriented and a team player

·       Demonstrate the ability to manage confidentiality and administrative tasks

You will be required to hold a current driver's license and be able to undertake and hold a satisfactory national police clearance and a working with children check.
