About the role

An opportunity has arisen for a dual trained Medical Imaging Technologist to join our friendly team at SKG Currambine on a Full Time basis.

Our Currambine branch provides General X-ray, OPG/Dental X-ray, Low-Dose CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Doppler, Facet Joint Injection, FNA Biopsy and Interventional Procedures to a well-established base of patients and referrers. Currambine has recently added EOS to their modality range, one of 5 machines available at SKG within WA.

As a Medical Imaging Technologist, you will be providing efficient and high quality imaging services within multiple modalities including as MRI, CT, General X-Ray and EOS. This role is full time, working 75 hours per fortnight. Flexibility to work extended hours and as part of the weekend roster is required. The successful applicant will also have the willingness to work at surrounding branches north of the river as needed.


Role requirements

  • AHPRA Registration & current WA Radiation licence
  • Proficient experience in MRI & CT is desired
  • The ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and independently
  • Display excellent communication and time management skills

Please note that the successful candidate is required to provide evidence of vaccination/immunity/screening to a list of vaccine-preventable diseases prior to commencement of employment.
