About the role

Based at our new office in Innaloo, the role of an Episode Support Officer is to provide reporting support to our Radiologists. In this role you will be the point of contact for staff to ensure the timely delivery of results, report queries and image transfers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between Clinicians, Medical Imaging Technologists (Radiographers) and Radiologists locally and globally. 
  • Provide comprehensive technical and administrative support to Radiologists.
  • Offer frontline support to staff, including doctors and Radiographers, ensuring timely availability of patient reports and image transfers.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient information.
  • Manage and troubleshoot various IT systems to prevent delays. 

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent organisational & administrative skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain supportive relationships with Radiologists, operations colleagues and practice staff.
  • Methodical thinker with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, particularly with intermediate skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Enjoyment in working with people and contributing to a fun team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform medical audio typing would be a plus.

An understanding of radiology/medical terminology and familiarity with systems such as IntelePACS and Clario/InteleOrchestrator would be advantageous.

 This is a Full Time position.

Due to the nature of the position there is an expectation for the successful candidate to work rostered weekend hours and shift work as required e.g. a weekly evening shift of 1pm to 9pm.
