ADF Health Services provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you'll be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team within a health centre, focusing on addressing the diverse mental health needs of active ADF members. Your support begins with initial intake and assessment, allowing flexibility to address individual needs effectively. You'll have the opportunity to utilize psychometrics and tailor treatments to align with your skills, interests, and scope of practice.

Autonomy is granted in managing your caseload, including overseeing, and managing externally referred cases and providing treatment to Defence members. Furthermore, you'll be supported in managing crisis situations, conducting risk assessments, and developing risk management plans as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary approach.

As the ideal applicant, you will have:
• A current, unconditional, and unrestricted registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
• A minimum of 2 years' post-graduate experience in mental health within the last 5 years, including conducting comprehensive assessments and delivering evidence based, Focussed Psychological Strategies

• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification (HLTAID009).
• Familiarity with state/territory policies, national standards, and the ADF Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2018-2023 is highly desirable.
• Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Baseline Defence security clearance.
