As a Prisoner Trust Services Officer at Acacia Prison, you will play a key role in managing prisoner trust accounts and ensuring smooth financial and administrative operations. Working in a fast-paced, high-performing team, you will be responsible for processing transactions, handling inquiries, and providing excellent customer service in a highly regulated environment. This is a full-time position based in Western Australia, approximately 50 km east of Perth.

As a Prisoner Trust Services Officer in the Prisoner Trust Services team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Processing daily system rollovers and financial transactions
  • Managing incoming and outgoing monies, mail, and correspondence
  • Monitoring and processing requests via messaging services
  • Providing reception and switchboard relief when required
  • Supporting the Prisoner Trust Services team with various administrative tasks
  • Ensuring all communications are clear, accurate, and timely

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • Strong computer literacy, including intermediate Excel skills (highly recommended)
  • Experience handling money, data entry, and processing transactions
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Experience working with switchboards (desirable)
  • The ability to obtain the necessary security permits
