Make an impact at Serco
As an Assistant Golf Course Curator, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and managing the turf of one of Melbourne’s leading golf courses. This hands-on role involves ensuring the course is maintained to the highest standard, performing turf renovation, pest and disease management, and irrigation system maintenance. You’ll work closely with a dedicated team to deliver outstanding playing conditions for golf course users.
As an Assistant Golf Course Curator in the Turf Management team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
- Maintaining and renovating turf to ensure high-quality playing conditions
- Inspecting and maintaining bunkers, plant, tools, and irrigation systems
- Identifying and treating pests and diseases in a sustainable manner
- Applying pesticides, fertilisers, and other chemicals safely and effectively
- Assisting in training and supervising apprentice greenkeepers as required
- Ensuring all work is completed in a safe and professional manner

You are passionate about turf management and enjoy working outdoors in a hands-on role. You bring a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality playing surfaces. Your strong teamwork skills and knowledge of turf care techniques will make a meaningful impact in this role.
To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- A qualification in Turf Management or equivalent experience
- A valid driver’s licence
- Experience in greenkeeping, golf course maintenance, or similar roles
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, turf pests, and disease control
- A Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
