About the opportunity

Reporting to the ADF Health Services Contract Manager, the Regional Manager will be responsible for the performance of the Mid & Northern NSW regional accounts and associated stakeholder relationships within the region including clinical staff, customer, local agencies, and subcontractors. The Regional Manager is a senior role within the ADF Health Services contract and therefore must be capable of working autonomously, leading large-scale teams, and working with stakeholders across all levels. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Regional leadership, employee engagement and workforce capability
  • Partner with Bupa and Defence to design employee experience
  • Accountable for service delivery and team performance
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team to develop and execute regional sourcing strategies
  • Support onboarding effectiveness and employee engagement
  • Financials, reporting, compliance, governance, and risk management

About You 

You’re passionate about developing, mentoring, and leading teams to achieve high levels of engagement. Your exceptional communication, organisational and problem-solving skills will see you quickly grasp business requirements and prioritise essential activity. With a strong work ethic, you will be driven and motivated to deliver best practice solutions to meet contract and business goals. 

Your ideal skills & experience

  • Demonstrated experience (5 – 10 years) in large multi-site contract management. 
  • Strong people, leadership, and performance management skills.
  • Experience managing KPIs, budgets, and commercial obligations.
  • Strong stakeholder management, including the ability to influence positive change.
  • High level of problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience in a Defence environment would be highly regarded but is certainly not required.

This role requires you to have or be able to obtain a Defence baseline clearance.
