Make an impact at Serco
As an Control Room Operator (also called Operational Support Grade or OSG) at Auckland South Corrections Facility, you'll play a vital role in the daily operations of the prison. Your contributions will help reduce re-offending and ensure the smooth operation of control rooms, visitor processing, and operational communications.
- As an OSG in the Justice & Immigration team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
- Operating master and residential control rooms using cutting-edge monitoring technology
- Overseeing vehicle movements and access at the Gatehouse
- Ensuring the safe and secure induction of prisoners in the receiving office
- Contributing to the smooth operation of stores and canteen services
- Participating actively in team meetings to foster a positive, collaborative environment
- Promoting and supporting the rehabilitation and reintegration of prisoners

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport

- Basic computer literacy and comfort with office technology
- Excellent command of the English language
