About the Role:
Join our team as a Clinical Support Nurse for a national virtual public health information service. This remote role offers flexibility to work from anywhere in Australia.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting our team of Mental Health Telehealth Nurses by providing advice on clinical escalations
- Provide clinical advice and triage for mental health via inbound and outbound calls, SMS, and follow-up communication
- Reviewing referrals and ensuring compliance with professional standards and client-defined practices
- Documentation of interactions and adherence to privacy policies are essential
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (qualification recognised by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia)
- Minimum 3 years full-time experience as a Registered Nurse in mental health contexts
- Current unconditional AHPRA registration
- Must meet the requirements of an Australian College of Mental Health Nurse (ACMHN), and either be credentialled or gain the accreditation while delivering the services within an agreed timeframe
- Hold a specialist/post graduate mental health nursing qualification
- Evidence of at least 50 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD), completed in the last 12 months and specifically in Mental Health, must be documented on CV
- National Police Check, Working With Children's Check/Blue Card and client-specific clearances
- Ability to attend 5 days of paid, online training to set you up for success in the role
