As an Operations Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in driving the performance of the region and supporting stakeholder relationships. You will work closely with the operations leadership team, managing workforce operations and optimising rostering across the Townsville, Cairns, and Lavarack bases.

This role requires the applicant to be an Australian Citizen due to security clearance requirements.

As an Operations Coordinator, you’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Managing accurate staff listings, leave approvals, and compliance requirements. 
  • Coordinating roster accuracy and assisting payroll with any discrepancies.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Maintaining timely and accurate data within workforce management tools. 
  • Assisting with internal and client reporting tasks.
  • Acting as the point of contact for roster queries and workforce management support.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have: 

  • Strong attention to detail and data management skills. 
  • Proven organisational and time management skills. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office and technologies like Power BI.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • The ability to handle competing demands and meet deadlines. 
  • Prior administrative experience, especially in 24/7 rostering. 
  • Defence or clinical environment experience (highly regarded).
