Make an impact at Serco
As a Registered Nurse - Primary Care at Acacia Prison, you will provide clinical assessment and care to a prison population of 1,520 prisoners, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team. You will play a key role in the care, rehabilitation, and support of patients, ensuring their healthcare needs are met while adhering to the highest professional standards. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Wooroloo, WA.

As a Registered Nurse in the Health team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments and care planning for patients
  • Delivering education, counselling, and group work services to promote health improvement
  • Providing risk assessments, treatment options, and care for patients with complex health needs
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care
  • Supporting the clinical supervision of Enrolled Nurses and new staff members
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to facility requirements

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Experience in primary healthcare, clinical assessment, and care planning

  • The ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to cultural awareness and respecting diversity
