The Work Health and Safety (WHS) and Wellbeing team provides Fiona Stanley Hospital with high quality consultancy, advice and support to help manage workplace health and safety risks. This includes injury prevention, injury management programs, Workers' Compensation claims management, pre-employment health and fitness for work assessments.
Your strong administrative skills will enable you to work on diverse tasks. These include:

  • Assisting with user registrations, data entry, reporting, workflow, and general enquiries as required.
  • Processing pre-employment health assessment forms, and support further assessments as required.
  • Supporting the team to meet site and South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) reporting, workplace inspection and audit compliance.
  • Monitoring a shared mailbox, responding to WHS enquiries within experience and assisting with internal referral management.
  • Supporting Injury Management Advisors with online claim lodgement and payroll processing

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • Proven experience in administration including managing paperwork, maintaining accurate records, handling correspondence, coordinating meetings, and managing information systems. 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail. 
  • Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team with limited supervision.
