Housekeeping/room attendant

THE ROLE 

Wellness & Hygiene team members are responsible for the day-to-day presentation and overall cleanliness and aesthetic appearance of Scape assets. Key responsibilities include daily and periodical public area cleaning, and room cleaning for student exits, group, and short stays bookings to ensure the optimal experience for current and future students.

Key responsibilities are as followed:  

  • Daily cleaning of public areas including common rooms, lounges, theatre, outdoor terraces, gym and laundry, corridors, and stairwells 
  • Being fully aware with health and safety obligations 
  • Weekly room cleaning and bed making for residents as required 
  • Participating in building open days and tours  

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are seeking enthusiastic self-starters with the following skills and experience:  

  • High attention to detail 
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask 
  • Can work in team or individual setting  
  • Ability to work with and relate to young adults while also maintaining professional and cultural sensitivity and boundaries 
  • 1-2 years' experience as a public area cleaner in a large commercial environment or room attendant in a 4 – 5 star hotel environment
