Role Overview:
As the Investment Manager / Director – Korea, you will be responsible for managing the Company’s relationship with a key investor based in South Korea. You will also manage relationships with other existing and potential investors across Asia, with a key focus on South Korea.
You will be responsible for representing the Company’s interests with investors, developing new business opportunities, providing updates on the performance of our ventures, and contributing to overall capital management and fundraising efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for engagement with a key South Korean institutional pension fund investor, ensuring exceptional service, responsiveness, and satisfaction
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential investors based in South Korea and across Asia
- Manage investor communications, including periodic reports, performance updates, and other relevant correspondence
- Collaborate with the fundraising team to support capital raising efforts, including preparing pitch materials, conducting presentations, and responding to investor queries
- Monitor and report on market trends, investor sentiment, and competitor activities in the region to identify new business opportunities
- Coordinate and manage investor meetings, events, and due diligence processes
- Provide strategic input and advice on investment strategies, market conditions, and capital management
- Work closely with internal teams, including portfolio managers, analysts, and compliance officers, to ensure alignment with investor interests and expectations
- Once office is established, begin to source, originate and execute on/off market acquisition opportunities in South Korea and the region
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Full working rights in South Korea
- Fluency in both Korean and English (spoken and written)
- Tertiary qualifications in finance, real estate, economics, business, or a related field
- Proven experience in funds management, investor relations, capital raising, and real estate investment, with at least 7+ years of relevant experience
- Strong network in South Korean real estate and capital markets
- Strong understanding of the South Korean and broader Asian investment landscape, particularly in real estate and alternative asset classes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to investors
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with institutional investors
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of financial models, fund structures, capital management, and regulatory frameworks relevant to the Asian market

- This is a full-time, office-based role in Seoul, South Korea
- Domestic and international travel will be required, including to Australia
